WHO

Habibi Bar is a collective of three friends with over a decade of experience in the San Francisco food and wine scene with the ultimate goal of opening their own brick and mortar wine centric community space that reflects the progressive and inclusive culture that has always defined San Francisco.

WHY

Habibi, in Arabic, translates to “my love” - a term of endearment extended to close friends and family. It is an auditory blanket, signaling warmth and inclusiveness. It is the word cooed from the lips of mothers, grandmothers, fathers and friends that simultaneously says, “you are welcomed, you are friend and you are loved”.

WHAT

Habibi Bar is a pop-up, offering up simple delicious food alongside a thoughtful selection of wines for the sole purpose of cultivating conversation and community. There is no ego, no end goal other than the simple pleasure that one experiences over the combination of well made food and carefully selected drink.
